***Special Announcement***
Because of inclement weather, the SCHA Board of Directors will notarize Joinder and Consent forms at the front entrance next Saturday, August 30, from 9:00 a.m. 12:00 p.m. instead of today. Should you have questions or concerns about this matter, please contact me. Warren
***Special Meeting***
The SCHA Board of Directors will conduct a special meeting on Sunday, September 14, 2008 to amend the Covenants and Restrictions and revise our Bylaws. The meeting will take place at the Millhopper Library at 2:00 p.m.
On August 16 and 17 members of the Board will distribute a packet containing the following documents to each homeowner in Summer Creek:
1. A letter explaining the reason for the special meeting
2. A Joinder and Consent form that describes your property and requests your approval for merging all five phases of the subdivision
3. A copy of the Amended and Restated Declaration of Covenants and Restrictions prepared by our attorney
4. A copy of the Recommended Deletions from and Amendments to the Bylaws
Since your Joinder and Consent form must be notarized, the Board will provide a notary at no charge to you. She will be available at two locations for your convenience. First, she will be under a tent near the entrance to Summer Creek on Saturday, August 30 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Second, she will be at the special meeting on Sunday, September 14 at 2:00 p.m.

Should you decide to use your own notary, either give your Joinder/Consent form and proxy to any member of the Board or mail them to us at 4257 N.W. 64th Street, Gainesville, FL 32606.
Finally, please note the importance of merging the Covenants and Restriction of all five phases and revising our Bylaws. Your cooperation is extremely important because without approval from 90% of homeowners, the Board will not have the authority to function on behalf of the entire subdivision.We are asking you to support our commitment to the continual development and protection of Summer Creek (and your home) and to its uplifting and enriching qualities—its safety, its beauty, and its tranquil and relaxing ambiance.
