The new county lawn watering and landscape irrigation ordinance establishes the following watering restrictions for single-family homes in unincorporated Alachua County:
During Daylight Savings Time:
Odd numbered addresses: Irrigation and lawn watering limited to Wednesday and Saturday before 10 a.m. and after 4 p.m.
Even-numbered addresses: on Thursday and Sunday before 10 a.m. and after 4p.m.
During Eastern Standard Time (which begins Sunday, Nov. 1):
Odd-numbered addresses: Saturday before 10 a.m., after 4 p.m.
Even-numbered addresses: Sunday before 10 a.m., after 4 p.m.
Violators potentially face a $50 penalty for watering during a day or at a time that is not permitted.

The Joinder and Consent process is now complete! All five phases of Summer Creek are now legally merged into a single neighborhood with a single homeowners association. The revised Convenants, Restrictions and Bylaws that were adopted as part of this process are available on the Covenents, Restrictions and Bylaws page. If your property is within unincorporated Alachua County, a site evaluation by county staff may be required prior to clearing, underbrushing, tree removal or other development activities in or adjacent to natural areas.
